The Cost of Having a Professional Organizer

This is definitely the most asked question, from DM’s, messages, phone calls and emails. Everyone wants to know how much of their hard earned money it will take to achieve what they consider “organized”. We get it, we do. It’s literally what we answer, and in most cases, what we DO every single day.

We answer this question by asking a question; How many spaces do you want to tackle in this session? Obviously, organizing one room is less of an investment than the entire house, but you will also end up with one beautifully organized room, and the rest of the house will still be chaotic.

Professional organizers, (like us!) do more than just clean up messes. We do declutter, and we also find ways that work for each client, individually, to maintain the organization. What works for one client, say a married couple with no kids, does not work for the busy, single mom of 4. We also (And I don’t know anyone else who does this) work with 14 local non profits in Nashville that help those in need. We never dump your items at Goodwill, instead, we tailor what goes where based on what each place needs. Then, we send itemized donation receipts for a tax write off. We also work with inner city school, and individuals we are made aware of, who need a hand up.

That being said, Neatly Balanced does have a pricing guide to help with a starting point, based on the scope of the project. However, time, team members required, in or out of state, travel expenses, and outside manpower (if furniture, heavy items are being moved) also determine the cost. We are insured, licensed and trustworthy. Many companies (Of any kind) are not. Do your research and ask questions, read reviews and reach out to any company you’re interested in to get a better idea of what they offer and at what cost.

We start at $250 for one small space (Coat closet, small kitchen pantry, etc) which takes approximately 2-3 hours and requires one team member. Projects go up from there based on square footage and everything else mentioned above. We also offer the option of purchasing one of our storage bins at a drastically reduced price, as we often purchase them in bulk and/or save items that are in good condition from other projects (We always ask the client before keeping anything) for space saving projects, instead of purchasing at a large store, and at full price.

Neatly Balanced offers complimentary consultations, always done with the Founder, Kristy, where we discuss your needs and expectations, and where she will also take pictures/videos to share with the team. From there, we send a contract, price information and available dates. After receiving a signed contract and 50% deposit, we reserve your dates and help you get organized!

What are you waiting for? We travel nationwide, so let’s get started on your organizing journey today!

Thanks for being here,

Kristy and the Neatly Balanced Team
