Homemade Caramel Sauce

1 C light brown sugar

1/2 C half and half (I use unsweet vanilla almond milk)

4 Tbsp butter (Vegan butter for me!)

pinch of salt (I prefer sea salt)

Cook everything in small saucepan over low/medium heat for 5-7 mins stirring slowly until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.

**This makes a GREAT gift!**
